Future Events in 2026

The year 2026 marks the final chapter of the Pro-Coast project, with several key events planned. These include the webinar series, multiple workshops, as well as the Final Conference in October, where the project’s results and achievements will be shared.

The events listed below outlines the final phase of Pro-Coast, as well as the events planned for 2026.

 

- October 21-22: Final PRO-COAST Conference in Brussels (Belgium). This event will mark the conclusion of the Pro-Coast Project, summarising its achievements and findings.

 

- June 28 - July 3rd: Summer School in Athens, organised by Germano-Hellenic high school (EA). Online & in person.

- May 19-21: 6th Steering Committee meeting in Malta with all project partners. Review, Refresh, Reset Workshop. 

 

- March 18th: Online webinar on the Community Sustainability Platform (CUSP), presented by Prof. Robert Kenward and Dr Perline Bastid.

 

- February 18th: Online webinar on the Conservation and Human Use Index (CHUI), presented by Phoebe Vayanou.

 

- January: Training sessions: Activities to train case study actors in citizen science methodologies.

- January 21st: Online webinar on the Deep Change Framework, presented by Prof. Dr. Ann-Marie Nienaber and Dr. Irini Theodorakopoulou.
